Simplify and streamline road noise enforcement: With the DECIBASE web platform, G+P offers an innovative solution for noise data management tailored for cantons, cities, and municipalities—featuring map-based visualization, flexible reporting, and seamless integration into existing systems.

Road noise affects a third of the Swiss population. To deal with this problem, the cantons are required to draw up a road noise register. With itsROAD18, a precise model that complies with the legislation, they have a modern tool for mapping nuisances, prioritising remediation and informing the public.

In the Energy Strategy 2050, solar energy plays a primary role in Switzerland's future energy supply. In addition to locations such as building facades and roofs, the potential of photovoltaic (PV) arrays along transport infrastructure (retaining walls, noise barriers, etc.) has also come into focus. The installation of solar panels there can influence sound propagation and can either reduce noise (as an obstacle) or increase it (as a reflective surface). As part of a pilot project on behalf of the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO), G+P accompanied the acoustic assessment of a planned PV system along a section of motorway, focusing in particular on reflections, which can lead to undesirable increases in noise for local residents.

In January 2024, as "The New Boss", I explained in a video statement what is important to us and to me at G+P. After almost a year as the new CEO, it's time for a little look back. Our values take centre stage. Values are a key success factor, especially for SMEs like us.

To mark our 40th anniversary, we launched a creative challenge for our customers - the folding puzzle! It was about more than just skill: originality and creative staging took centre stage. The entries overwhelmed us and we are proud to honour the three most original contributions. But for us, every participant is a winner!

A weekend full of memories in Châteaux-d'Oex. Last weekend, we celebrated a special event: 40 years of company history. Our anniversary trip to Châteaux-d'Oex was a complete success, bringing us together with 60 employees from various branches. Thanks to bright sunshine, a great atmosphere and a varied programme, this weekend will remain unforgettable.
